APRA researcher Brian James has twice seen a puma run across the road in front of his car while he was driving on the A417 between Streatley and Blewbury, curiously both times while returning from the wolf trust - what synchronicity is at work there? On Saturday April 1 during the afternoon and Tuesday April 11 at night, Brian was driving from Streatley towards Kingstanding Hill (host to a crop circle in 1994) near Moulsford. A very obvious large feline leapt out of the hedgerow tot he left of the road, bounded across the road in 4-5 bounds, then leapt off into the verge on the other side of the road. On both occasions the look of a big cat was obvious with the long s-shaped tail held out behind the the dark brown and grey animal. The two sightings have been within 1km of each other, so it is more than likely this was/is the same animal.
