Camera Orbs - New Evidence?

Readers of these pages will have seen our interest in the so-called 'Orb' phenomenon, or perhaps more accurately those orbs captured on camera, which perhaps we can term 'Camera Orbs'?

You will have seen that based on research dating back 10 years now, it has always been our 'belief' that the vast majority of these claimed photographed orbs are nothing more than artefacts caused by the camera flash illuminating various particulates  - moisture, smoke, dust, pollen etc.

During the morning of 26th December 2003 - in need of some fresh air and exercise after Christmas day, APRA researcher Brian James went to Snelsmore Common near Newbury in Berkshire.  The intent had not been to conduct 'Camera Orb' research, but he took his Fuji F602Z digital camera.  The weather wasn't great, with low cloud and light drizzle, and under these conditions, Brian wouldn't have been surprised to see 'orbs' when he was using fill-in flash.  In this respect the results are as expected, but perhaps Brian has also managed to acquire evidence for his theories of shadow patterns son the orbs, being caused by lensing of the flash due to droplets of moisture on the flash unit itself....

A general shot across the landscape in the central part of Snelsmore Common.  The illumination of moisture particulates is obvious.

An unusual 'pattern' of particulate orbs to the right of the image.  Its also very noticeable how brightly illuminated these are compared to those in the previous image.  What is also noticeable is the different shape to these anomalies.  I believe this is simply down to a combination effect of the particulate reflection, and the fine moisture droplets on the camera lens, which themselves were also giving hexagonal aberrations on all images.

In many ways a similar effect to the previous image while Brian was trying to capture the structure and pattern contrast  in a row of old trees.  This image also shows the classic 'tail' that is not the movement of the orb upwards, but the rain droplet falling while the flash fades.

Another photo of the same trees, but in this one we seen feint 'orbs' up amongst the tree branches. Most importantly, we see on very clear image with a pattern, almost a 'hole' tot he top left of the large 'orb' - giving a sort of 'bowling ball' effect.

A view of a downed tree, which suddenly show the clear shadow effects, in fact the same 'bowling ball' pattern seen in the previous image.  Remember, the image above was taken with the camera held in portrait mode, while this one is held in landscape mode - note that the 'hole' is actually in the same relative position to the camera in each case!  The second image is a crop of the 'orbs' themselves, so you can see greater detail.

A curious synchronicity!  While Brian could feel no obvious energies on this site, someone had gone to great lengths either to create a simple piece of artwork, or to commemorate the 'Serpent' (the Earth Energy) - using twigs, fir cones, flints and even pieces of broken glass to represent the eye.  A couple of 'orbs' managed to get into the photo - Brian is pretty sure it was coincidence, but one can never rule out something more meaningful, or even the Cosmic Joker effect...
