2000 - M6 nr Carlisle
Another sighting by "Bill",
who experienced missing time on the M42 in 1998...
"(I was) just heading south
near Carlisle on the M6. I was astounded to see what I thought at the time was
the Euro Fighter Aircraft above me at possibly less that 100 feet. It travelled
really slowly, passed me, it turned on a sixpence 180 degrees and shot away in
the direction from where it came.
It had no markings or lights
but looked like pictures that I'd seen of the Euro Fighter. No aeroplane could
do what it did so slowly without falling out of the sky.
